Upcoming Meetings and Mailing List

The Forum meets two or three times per semester. Our next meeting will take place as follows:

Location: Victoria College Senior Common Room, 180 Charles Street West, 2nd Floor
Topic: Research Workshop

We would like to start the new academic year with a workshop aimed at strengthening the collaboration among forum members. This workshop is centered on the interface between speech production and perception. In particular, we want to take this opportunity to allow members to share our current research interests, keeping in mind the potential of developing collaborations with other forum members.

All members are invited to submit individual or group proposals for a 10-15 minute presentation focusing on any aspect of speech production and perception. Proposals should be brief (200 word maximum), indicating clearly (i) the general area of research; (ii) the specific research questions; and (iii) areas of expertise and types of help sought from other SRF members. Please send your proposal to Jeffrey Steele (jeffrey.steele @utoronto.ca) before Friday, September 28th.
